Guided Walk Description

This is a worthwhile and memorable route as we explore the quieter route to Snowdon. The path from Rhyd Ddu takes us through quarries and affords us a fantastic view of Cwm Llan and Y Lliwedd before we start to ascend the South ridge. Before we summit, the path narrows with steep and breathtaking views of the valleys below. A short steeper section and we reach the summit of Snowdon! Our descent route takes us down the Rhyd Ddu path which is a gradual route back to Rhyd Ddu. This walk is about 8 miles.

Note: All our staff are qualified, knowledgeable and will always strive to give you the best experience coupled with ensuring your safety and others.

Guided Walk Schedule

  • 9am meet and greet at Rhyd Ddu car park
  • 9.30 set off for the summit
  • 1pm arrive at the summit of Snowdon
  • 1.30pm set off from summit
  • 5pm arrive back at Rhyd Ddu car park

All timings on the mountain are approximate.
