School groups in the outdoors

We are proud to say that we have taken over 600 primary age school children from North Wales on outdoor experiences between May and July 2021. We've also visited schools to provide specific on site experiences to over 150 children ranging from curriculum themed activities to bushcraft and nature. We have increased the number of walks for schools to their local hills and mountains, many of which are in rural areas and because of the small numbers of pupils in some schools, require tailored packages and solutions. Independent groups of young people such as military college students, private groups of young people and local young ambassadors have also been part of our provision and commitment to young people and our investment in future generations continues having had two young people on work experience with us. This is despite the challenges faced by all of us over the last year and in particular those faced by children, their parents and teachers and the governing bodies. We're proud of what we have achieved and with bookings in place for the remainder of 2021 and into 2022 we are looking forward to continuing our bilingual provision to schools and young people. A massive thank you to the schools for taking the decision to get their pupils outdoors, to the teachers for their support during activities and to our own staff who always provide a professional, fun and safe experience for all.
